Hi! My name is Michael Comeau and I’m a street photographer and freelance writer based in Brooklyn, NY. I started this blog because I’m a big fan of Aperture’s fast and easy workflow. Photoshop can certainly do more, but Aperture lets me spend less time in front of the computer and more time out making pictures.
While this site is still young, I hope to build it into one of the best Aperture resources on the web by loading it up with news, reviews, and most importantly, plain-English tutorials. Software doesn’t have to be a pain.
Disclosure: I have affiliate marketing relationships with retailers mentioned on this site, including but not limited to Amazon.com, MacMall.com, and Crucial.com. These retailers pay me commissions if you click through the links I provide and make a purchase. This does not cost you any money – but it does give me incentive to recommend certain products and services. I don’t promote junk – but you deserve to be aware of these relationships.

I’m loving A3
I just found this site, and am so glad that I did! I was looking for a place to learn Aperture 3, and to be motivated.
Thanks!
I was looking for a comparison of Aperture 3 and Photoshop Elements and you had just what I was looking for. Thank you and I plan to bookmark and check the site periodically. I appreciate your disclosures as well.
I just found this site. I, too, would like to spend more time with a camera rather than in front of my iMac fixing photos. Thank you for sharing!
Michael, Thank You for your devotion to Aperture. I am new photographer and havent really done any computer processing or categorizing of my pictures. Your site has been extremely helpful.
