Fuji X100 Pre-Orders Available NOW at Amazon and Adorama!

by Mike on January 16, 2011

UPDATE: Right now, Amazon and J&R are the only reputable dealer taking pre-orders for the X100. Don’t be stupid and pay $2,00o on eBay.

Just make sure that you pay the proper $1,199 price! If another price appears, look at the right of the screen and select ‘Amazon.com’ under ‘More Buying Choices.’

Amazon and Adorama is now taking pre-orders for the oh-so-hot Fujifilm X100 camera, and I just placed mine.

It is priced at $1,199, which is a bit higher than rumored.

Now that’s not cheap by any means, but the Internet buzz on this camera has been so hot that even if I don’t like it when I get it home, I fully expect to be able to sell it for more than I paid. It really is that lusted after. So my plan is to play with it for a few weeks, and then decide if it’s a keeper.

Just about every hot camera in recent memory has been completely sold out at retail for a while after release, and the X100 should be no different, and that means very strong post-purchase resale value.

As I’ve mentioned, I recently sold my Panasonic LX5 to make room for the Fuji X100, and I can’t way to get my hands on one of these babies!

Pre-order the Fuji X100 at Amazon now!

Pre-order the Fuji X100 at Adorama now!

FYI – if you don’t know Adorama, they are one of the biggest and most-trusted photography-equipment retailers in the world. You can feel safe ordering from them – they are good people over there!
