Now that’s not cheap by any means, but the Internet buzz on this camera has been so hot that even if I don’t like it when I get it home, I fully expect to be able to sell it for more than I paid. It really is that lusted after. So my plan is to play with it for a few weeks, and then decide if it’s a keeper.
Just about every hot camera in recent memory has been completely sold out at retail for a while after release, and the X100 should be no different, and that means very strong post-purchase resale value.
As I’ve mentioned, I recently sold my Panasonic LX5 to make room for the Fuji X100, and I can’t way to get my hands on one of these babies!
