I only launched ApertureLand.com in February, but its growth has astounded me. In April, it served up over 10,000 page views despite practically zero marketing, and my early May numbers are looking quite good as well.
But, I think we can all agree that the design of ApertureLand is pretty bland. I am shooting for 50,000+ page views in December, so it’s definitely time to kick things up a notch. Starting this week, I’m going to begin working on a fresh new design that will be nicer to look at and easier to navigate.
I’m also planning on dramatically expanding the quality and quantity of content offered on ApertureLand. That means more tutorials, more reviews of related products like plug-ins, more free presets, a free newsletter, and more commentary on the broader world of digital photography.
Unfortunately, this means that I am going to slow down my pace of posting updates over the next couple of weeks as I transition to a new design.
Finally, let me throw out a question – what do YOU want to see on this site? Contact me at ApertureLand at gmail.com and tell me! Or just post something in the comments section below!
